TEAM MEETING WEDNESDAY FEB 24TH 3:00 MS CAFE!!! (bring your uniform)

Save the Best for Last!!!!

They say that all good things come to an end. Such is exactly the case with North Salem's Winter Track and Field Season. The team competed in their final meet of the Winter Season on Monday February 15th at the Manhattan Armory.

The Goal for the entire season was simple: Constantly improve and run your personal best every meet while earning the respect of their athletic peers. The team did just that. In our final meet the team left everything out on the track running some of the best times of the year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people for a tremendous season:

The Athletes - you are the program...you guys are the reason were so successful this year.
The Parents - your sacrifices and endless patience during these long winter meets and practices was greatly appreciated.
The North Salem Faculty and Staff - thank you for supporting the program and understanding why there were 45 kids running by your classroom on snowy days.
Coach Becerra - your tireless dedication to the program and all that you did is and was greatly appreciated.

Westchester County Championships

As The North Salem Track team completed their competition on Sunday night, one thing was clear...The Future of the North Salem Track and Field team is extremely bright. The Westchester County Championship meet displayed some of the greatest talent in the State of New York. The young North Salem team did not back down from the challenge. The goal on Sunday was not to meet the level of the competition, but to go beyond the limits of what was possible for each athlete.

Meet Highlights

The relay team continues to get better with each race. Nathalie, Helen, Emma, and Noemie annihilated there original time of 2:06 by running two minutes flat during Sunday’s meet.
