Bechu, Brown, and Burdett, advance to the State Championship!!!
This marks the 4th state championships in a row that the North Salem Track/XC program will be competing in.
Noemie Bechu qualified for the New York State Championships in the 100 meter dash taking second place in the qualifier with a time of 12.56. On day two of the state qualifier Noemie won a sectional title in the 200 meter dash by running a 25.32 which is the second fastest time in the state in division 2.
Brenna Brown qualified for the New York State Championships in the pentathlon by winning the section with a personal best score of 2831. Brenna is currently ranked 5th in the state in division 2 and 31st in the country in the pentathlon.
Cullin Burdett qualified for the New York State Championships in the 8oo meter run by winning a sectional title in a personal best time of 1:58.74. Cullin is currently ranked in the top 10 in New York state for the 1600 and top 25 in New York State for the 800 meter run.
The Boys 4 x 800 ran the 2nd fastest time in school history with a time of 8:17.58 finishing second in the section at the state qualifier. The team consisted of Micky Jacobsen (2:04.5), Addison Burdett (2:07.6), Jake Acito (2:01.5), and Cullin Burdett (2:04.0).
Seasonal Bests were run by the following athletes:

Madison Fleischner - 100m hurdles (17.85)
Sean Devey (54.76)
Connor Murphy- 200 (23.64)
