The Future is BRIGHT!!!

"Best meet of the year" - Although simply stated...this quote summarizes the meet in its entirety. The North Salem Track and Field team competed at the Gold Rush Invitational this weekend at Clarkstown South High School. The path to success is carved through the stone of hard work, and that hard work and dedication was on display throughout the day, both on the track and in the field. The meet was full of personal records and medal award winners!!! More importantly, with half of the number of girls that the other teams had, we were still able to finish 7th out of the 14 teams. The meet was a tremendous success and allowed the program to take a glimpse into our future.

  1. Even though i was not able to run at Gold Rush, I was able to watch our track team give it our all not only on the track, but also on the field. This team has a lot of growing to do, but for our first year we are passing expectations that anyone thought we could do. Lets keep up the good work.
