All of the hard work the tigers have done over the last month paid off well during Thursday's meet vs. Dover. The boys ran well in their first meet while fighting injuries that left a few tigers sidelined. The girls went beyond what was expected of them and set the bar for the rest of the season.

Casey - 1st place 13.0 (Sets School Record!!!)
Danny - 1st place 11.1 (Personal Best)

200 Meter dash
Casey and Brenna take 1st and 2nd

400 Meter Dash
Brenna and Rita take 1st and 2nd
Danny and Mike take 2nd and 3rd

400 Meter Hurdles
Bobbie takes 1st (first time running this race)
Mike takes 2nd (first time running this race)

800 Meter run
Christian and Allison take 2nd...Azim finishes a close 3rd

1500/1600 Meter Run
Allison, Linda, Diana (sweep event!!!) 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Christian takes 1st

3200 Meter Run
Christian takes 2nd

Danilo finishes 1st (37 feet) (1st time thrower!!!)

Coach Davis and I could not be more pleased with the team's progress so far this season. Hard work is the Key to success. There is no doubt that we will have a successful season!!!
